Budget roadshows to allow more community input

Q: Sir, can you please help us with finding out what the bylines say about how many pets residents are allowed to have? In my area there is one place which has more than 7 dogs, a variety of cats and even birds and rabbits. The animals get out and cause havoc in the streets especially on days when the garbage bags are out then there is litter all over the road from torn bags and the municipality guys don’t pick up the mess on the floor just whatever is left in the bags. I know some years back people needed permits to have more than 2 dogs but recently no one can give us answers. Please help. K Joubert

A: Hi please contact our Department of Community Services, they will assist you.

Q: NNASKMAYOR: Hi Councillor. As residents of paradise we have some serious concerns and im not sure that a ward meeting will be able to solve anything. The taxi drivers parked along the Sutherland street are harassing some domestic workers who say they too scared to come to work now. And they moving along the paradise grounds to wash taxis too. Kids from the high schools have parents that work and cant pick them up so they walk home and its not safe. Please cant you intervene?

A: We are moving as fast as we can on the holding area, it was a decision only taken in December. It will be finished in the next couple weeks, weather permitting.

Q: Mayor Sir, what steps can we follow to get a meeting with you regarding issues with failing infrastructure

A: Attend my budget roadshows.
