Newcastle Corner took a step back in time on Saturday night.
The mall buzzed with excitement ahead of its Drive in Movie Evening, with residents gathering for a taste of yesteryear.

Residents eagerly settled in for the evening, some wrapped in blankets in the loadbins of bakkies and others simply on their car bonnets in anticipation of the screening.
Throughout the evening, staff of restaurants in the Newcastle Corner centre took dinner orders from a limited menu.
Following the Drive in Movie Evening, Newcastle Corner posted on its Facebook page: “What a great family drive in event we had at Newcastle Corner. Thank you for all your support.”
