BREAKING NEWS: Man killed near Fairleigh in suspected robbery gone wrong

A man was killed this evening (March 9) in what is believed to be a robbery gone wrong.

According to one witness, she noticed the man lying on the grass near Link Road’s edge.

Terrified at the sight, she fled and called SAPS for assistance.

It is believed the man was stabbed during a robbery gone wrong, and later succumbed to his wounds.

Officials flocked to the scene and could only speculate as to the circumstances of the attack.

The killing is now subject to official investigations.
