MUST READ: Skeleton of a woman discovered in Ingogo

Skeletal remains of a woman were found in Ingogo.

Skeletal remains believed to belong to a woman were found near Ingogo on September 28.

The skeleton was allegedly discovered by a passerby, who alerted authorities of the gruesome find.

An unofficial source claimed the woman was identified as a nurse. It was reported nursing attire was found near the scene.

The source said a fracture to the skull of the skeleton was visible upon investigation, and part of the remains were charred, allegedly as a result of a veld fire in the area.

While the exact cause of death could not be established at the time, the forensics unit and police were on scene to conduct investigations.
