WIN TICKETS: Car enthusiasts here’s your chance to win

Newcastle, the grandest competition in motor shows has arrived!

Show Off Your Ride is celebrating it’s 10th successful year with a bigger event, more action and activities, and a whole host of new entertainment.

Previously hosted at Blackrock Casino. This year, Team Supersonic is proud to announce its new venue partner – the Newcastle Mall. With the new venue – not only a major Newcastle landmark and all the right infrastructure – the mall can also accommodate more competitors and spectators.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is the all-women’s Show n Shine competition, celebrating Women’s Month in August. Empowering women with their heels and wheels, women will compete in their own category, which features a professional photo shoot for each competitor.

Entries are limited to only 30 competitors.

KZN’s top five spinners and drifters will take on top spinners and drifters from Mpumalanga and Gauteng, in a Gymkhana time trial battle.

Also look forward to live DJs, children’s entertainment, go kart rides, food and novelty stalls, the annual Car Club Challenge, a mobile dyno for speed freaks, a South African Record Car Sound Competition sanctioned by DB Drags SA, and tons more suitable for the whole family.

Adults pay R50 at the gate while children under the age of 13 pay R20.

Gates open at 10am, tickets available at the gate only.

But here’s the interesting part and your chance of winning:

Team Supersonic is giving away five sets of double tickets to five lucky readers.

To make the deal even sweeter, Team Supersonic is celebrating women’s month by giving two lucky women a chance of winning a suicide ride courtesy of the professional spinners on the day.
