SIGNAL HILL – Jacques and Yolandi Wolmarans are still desperately searching for the perpetrators who allegedly poisoned their dog, Titan, and stole three of their husky puppies from their home in Signal Hill on March 25.

Mr Wolmarans is offering a R1 000 reward for the safe return of the puppies or the whereabouts of the culprits.

Mrs Wolmarans is appealing to the community of Newcastle to be on the lookout for their puppies.

“Even if you have bought a puppy from the criminal, please just contact me so I can know those puppies are safe and they have a good and loving home. Their safety and well-being are very important to me.”

Mr Wolmarans also expressed his grief over his beloved Husky, Titan, who was poisoned on the day of the theft, and said he just wanted to know who was responsible for the death of his dog.

The police have also since launched an investigation into the matter.

“Titan was not just a dog. He was family to us. He was like a child in my house and now he is gone. The person who killed my dog does not understand what void has been left in my family. My four-year-old daughter has not stopped crying since Titan’s passing.”

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the puppies are urged to contact Mr Wolmarans on 071 532 3134 or Mrs Wolmarans on 072 798 7469.
