UPDATE: Three car pile-up on Victoria Road

UPDATE: According to occupants of the two vehicles involved, both the first bakkie and the light motor vehicle were stationary at the time of the collision. The driver of the second bakkie hit into the light motor vehicle, which in turn hit into the first bakkie at the scene.

We sincerely apologise for the incorrect information sent out at the time the incident ocurred. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.

A collision on Victoria Road occurred at about 1.30pm this afternoon.

It is believed the driver of the first bakkie was indication to turn right into Goodwin Avenue, with a light motor vehicle waiting behind her.

With both vehicles stationary, a bakkie collided with the light motor vehicle, which in turn hit into the indicating first bakkie.

All occupants sustained minor injuries.

Traffic officials were present on scene to gather information.

One lane of Victoria Road was obstructed as the Fire Department arrived to clear the debris.
