LETTER: Grateful patient says thank you

adventure

Madam – I write to you whilst recovering at home after a traumatic two weeks in hospital.

That I can write this letter, is thanks to many people who contributed to my recovery.

Firstly Doctor Greaves who recognised the need to refer me to Specialist Doctor Khan, who in turn mapped out the procedural route to my recovery. Then Surgeon, Doctor Viljoen who performed the necessary procedure in theatre.

At all times these doctors acted in a professional, efficient manner, with a great attitude and with good humour. Also the staff in the X-Ray and Scanning departments. Then I must mention the nursing staff, (as well as the cleaning and catering crews) of “B” WARD of the Mediclinic Hospital. 24 hours per day, day and night, the patience, diligence and attention to detail was remarkable, with no shortage of good humour. (A little hug for Ronel, Rosa and Tekla here!).

Thanks also to my daughters Nicola and Vicki and sons-in-law Dudley and Brian for being by my side, and the many friends and family for their visits and calls of support.

A huge thank you to all the above, I am so grateful.
