JUST IN: Tragic head-on collision claims two lives in Newcastle

OSIZWENI – A head-on collision between a light motor vehicle and a bus claimed two lives in KwaMsomi in oSizweni on Wednesday, May 17.

According to KwaZulu Private Ambulance Media Liaison, Belinda Catchpole, two people were pronounced dead on arrival. Another patient was treated on scene and taken to hospital for further medical treatment.

The exact cause of the collision is still unclear at this stage, and remains subject to police investigations.
