Facebook comments on #BabyHope is on the road to recovery

Jacori Jaksie French: "How can people be so rude and irresponsible for throwing away a baby that is also human ,seriously why give birth when you know you don't want a baby"

This week, a baby was found abandoned in the veld in Amiel Park.

Thanks to the quick intervention of residents, TRIVS Medical Services and the Newcastle Advertiser, the baby was taken to hospital and treated. She is now safe, but a case of attempted murder has been opened at the Newcastle SAPS.

#BabyHope is on the road to recovery.

Here is what you had to say about this on Facebook:

Lizette Louw Versteegh – WHY???!!! Please girls! If you can’t afford a baby, take the necessary precautions… This is not the way to do it.

Zimele Zee KaZondo – Some women have a nerve, how can u dump an infant, what a coward she knew very well ukuthi what will happen if u sleep around without protection,

Andrew Van Den Berg – Hope they find the mother and charge her. Thank you to the lady that reported the matter.

Shanice Somaru – Its really sad that ppl throw away their babies. A real women would at least take the baby to a safe place like a hospital or clinic nt leave the child to die!
